n John Q. Hammons Hotels completed a $3 million renovation of the 236-room Embassy Suites Hotel Kansas City--International Airport in Kansas City, Mo., which it owns and operates. The ballroom, pool, public areas and suites were renovated. The ballroom features new artwork, wallcoverings, sconces, doors, hardware, airwalls and carpet. The guestrooms now feature new beds, furniture, wet bars, appliances, windows, drapes and sheers.
